A 2 day/16 hour Remote Outdoor First Aid training course covering:

  • Hazard and dangers in mountain environment
  • Primary assessment
  • Recovery position
  • Resuscitation
  • Choking management
  • Management of an unconscious casualty
  • Secondary assessment
  • Major trauma
  • Head, chest and internal injury
  • Spinal recovery position
  • Hypothermia
  • Acute mountain sickness
  • Cold related injuries
  • Management of fractures
  • Common medical emergencies
The course will be ran at uni over two separate days. You'll probably need to bring your own lunch on both days.
