A 2 day/16 hour Remote Outdoor First Aid training course covering:
- Hazard and dangers in mountain environment
- Primary assessment
- Recovery position
- Resuscitation
- Choking management
- Management of an unconscious casualty
- Secondary assessment
- Major trauma
- Head, chest and internal injury
- Spinal recovery position
- Hypothermia
- Acute mountain sickness
- Cold related injuries
- Management of fractures
- Common medical emergencies
The course will be ran at uni over two separate days. You'll need to bring your own lunch on both days.
